I went to a show called 'tap kids' which was meant to be really good but i didnt think it was all that, i love dancing but never really found tap dancing that impresive lol
I went out for a meal with ym mum and her friend then we went to see the comedian Shappi Khorsandi who was really good, ive seen her before on micheal mcintyres road show and live at the apolo ext. (im qutie a fan now!)
so i went to her book reading 'A beginners guide to acting English' which was also good, got to have a chat with her and she signed my copy :)

Hmm what else have i being doing, just going out with friends ext. =)
Was out with Alice,Fiona,Akshay and chris last night which was a good laugh.
Alice and I went to see Dance flick before we went to Chris's house - which was really funny, had me rolling!
Then we went to Taquila Joes which is owned by the same guy that owns El Bario so we knew the staff =) Heres pictures from a few nights out have had with the girls this summer!

Results, FESTIVAL TIME, animals

So on the 5th of August we all got our results, i was really hoping i would sleep until 11/12 so when i'd wake up they would be there
It seams like everyone was on FB stressing at their postman, by the time i went on i'd already got mine though. I am quite disappointed with them but its not the end of the world. 2/5 of my results were the best that i could have hoped for so thats not too bad.
Anyway its kinda got me all stressing about the future. Mainly because i haven't had my telford interview yet the fannies that they are. But also on what to do next year. Because i got a C in english, although i really enjoy doing english and enjoy working with my tutor and i've already progressed so much so i might apply to do that if possible. Plus Ashleys doing Pride and Prejudice which is one of my favourite books so im so jelous, if i got to do that then that would be great!

Enough boring talk. Its festival time, woohoo. I love the festival :) Best time of year in Edinburgh defo. Its sunny too!

Oh, something not so cool though, i think i might be getting a fear of spiders. I used to not mind them, and if someone would see a spider i'd be the one to pick it up and put it outside. But ive found 2 in my room this past month and they both have been HUGE. The picture isnt very clear since it was against a dark towel and a night, but come on, that a fat ass spider am i right?

Also, im sure this fox keeps following me. I see him down my street all the time, and last night he was on my shed! The pictures look like those onesthat police take of druggies when they're in hid outs eh :P yep i have no life.

Like a frickin wild park seriously

Night in shining Adidas

" i don't think about the past, i think about today, tomorrow and the future"

the past is always behind you, you are always in front of the past, your past is never in front of you. nice quote don't you think? its simple but i like it.
Although its probably a 'you had to be there' kind of quote, as i heard it with a Russian accent - had more of an impact. It was on an episode of sex and the city, as i was having a marathon day in bed with my DVDs. Before you start feeling sorry for my life, i was only doing that to recover from the night before, and that morning.

It was one of those nights you can spend hours trying to wrap your head around how everything happened. Getting flashbacks and laughing, with anyone around you giving you strange looks!
Well, the night started as any good night does, with tequila shots at the bar. Then more tequila shots at the bar. Here's what i remember after that..
*give me a minute*
- Throwing away my morals and going for a wee down an alley off the royal mile
- meeting a very very very gorgeous Australian man in a kilt. Although maybe not by nationality, he was a true Scotsman! ( he let me check )
- my phone running out of battery as i was trying to phone someone i met earlier, then like a night in shining Adidas he appeared!
- dancing to Bob Marley at some random house, telling a guy about how I've never had sushi
- meeting a camp man that kept me and gabby crying with laughter all night, with quotes like
" well slap my tits and call me Jamima, i love this song! "
- agreeing to do hat modeling
- leaving the party at 9am to look up and find i was standing right beside the castle

I'm very sure there was more that will come back to me!

The Wall

I have such an urge to re-create my room.
I may move around some of the furniture, although the itch that needs scratched is to do something with all the shit on my wall. I'd never through them away, only in a bad brake-up is when you should through away photos! Im thinking i'l get a hard back book or something and tape them on there.
Text Colour
I just didn't want them staring at me anymore. You'd think since they are nice photos since there is nice people in them with nice smiley faces. But the vast majority of people on the wall i dont speak to anymore. Which is sad, which makes my wall sad, which makes me sad. The photos are so old too, just doesn't represent me anymore. So in a book they go.

I have to admit i love re-decorating, although its usually not my room! I love buying art. So im going to start when it's the Edinburgh festival, theres always great arty stuff their. Including my Dad's stall, although his stuff ain't my style, but his discount is :)

So this week has been pretty basic.
Most of my friends were away this weekend but i went to the cinema on fri and had a house party to go to on sat so it wasnt too bad :)
Been gyming it quite a bit. Started going for a swim which i forgot how relaxing it can be, specially with the sauna/steamroom and jacuzzi :)
Its fun going with Hanna too. Shes such a fast swimmer though, makes it look so easy! I feel like im doggy padling when im next to her.
But since im doing it for the relaxation more than anything else i dont mind going slow.

So yeah i swim in the slow lane. When i got in today there was this other guy swimming too but its quite a big lane, but then when i got in and he saw me he started going really fast. So my casual swim turned into the olympics. I swam like 5/6 lenths at really top speed but then just thought fuck this. I dont need to prove i earned my swim badge to some pensioner in spedos.

ciao
